Catholic on Catholic Lynching

I send greetings to my fellow Papists and all people of good will. Last week's election will go down as the day of shame for Catholic voters in America. Need I count the ways? From Missouri to South Dakota and beyond, the culture of life lost big time and Catholic voters helped make it happen. See now what our folly hath wrought: Powerful Catholic politicians now in key leadership positions who will actively work against key tenets of the faith they claim. The governor elect of Maryland Martin O'Malley, Speaker of the House to be, Nancy Pelosi, and Senator elect Claire McCaskill to name a few.

With the Bishops now gathered in Baltimore for their annual meeting, now would be the perfect time for our Shepherds to remind Pelosi and company of the fact that the faith they claim and many of the stances they take are completely at odds. The new Archbishop of D.C. should sit all these clowns down and tell them, "Don't even try and receive communion in my diocese." Alas, I dreameth. What I really fear is the retribution that these pro-abort Catholics will attempt to exact against their fellow Catholics of the conservative persuasion.

I fear for one person in particular.  Scott Bloch, who heads up the Office of Special Counsel is sure to be a prime target of Pelosi and the Democratic Neo-Catholic Know Nothing Party. (* For those of you from Rio Linda, the Know Nothings were an anti-Catholic political party from the 1850’s.)  Scott Bloch is a solid Catholic family man from Kansas who ran afoul of the homosexual lobby in Washington.  For reversing a pro-homosexual policy at the agency he runs, Bloch has endured political water boarding for the last three years and RINO’s in the administration have played along and threatened to send Bloch off the plank if he doesn’t shut up and resign.

I fully expect other prominent Catholics and hard core conservatives to suffer at the hands of the Know Nothings.  Altar Boys like Dick Durban, Ted Kennedy, and John Kerry are itching for revenge and can be expected to play the roles of Grand Inquisitor in the Senate.

I hope to do my part with this blog by shedding light on those politicians who try and abuse their power and bring shame to the faith we hold dear.  I hope to encourage people of all faiths to stand up against these clowns.  To that end, I dedicate this blog to the boy martyr St. Tarcisus, who gave up his life protecting the Eucharist from street thugs. May the good saint protect us from the thugs in Washington.
